¡Hola! I'm a language enthusiast and Spanish teacher from Buenos Aires, Argentina. I'm on a mission to make Spanish learning natural and fun through an evidence-based approach that includes interactive stories (TPRS®) and Comprehensible Input.
I'm thrilled to help amazing people unlock their Spanish fluency while acting as a bridge to Hispanic culture.
When I'm not teaching, I enjoy reading both fiction and non-fiction, vegetarian cooking, and working on my Hindi and Guaraní.
I'm an LGBT+ and disability advocate. My classroom is a safe space for everyone.Me as a Teacher
I specialize in working with adult learners who are determined to achieving fluency but feel frustrated or demotivated by traditional teaching methods, or who have been led to believe they are no good at languages. We now know we become proficient in a language as a by-product of being engaged in communication, i.e. by interpreting and producing meaning.
I strive to create an interactive, input-rich learning environment that is also fun, low-anxiety, and appropriate for your goals. I enjoy embedding culture into our lessons and getting to know you and your unique preferences and interests.My lessons & teaching style
My practice is based on a contemporary communicative approach that is informed by current research on Second Language Acquisition. I incorporate techniques from TPR (Total Physical Response), TPRS® (Teaching Proficiency through Reading and Storytelling), and other Comprehensible Input activities, such as learning through content and tasks.
I won't waste your time with stress-inducing techniques that are not research-backed, such as drills, verb charts, and worksheets.
Because reading is key to your progress, we will co-create short texts in class. I will also help you select reading material which is level-appropriate and culturally-rich.My teaching material

Pablo's spanish class took me from not knowing any spanish to finishing my first non-graded spanish book and watching spanish sitcoms in six months. I don't think you will find CI instruction like this in spanish anywhere else.

Pablo is a great teacher and i love his classes. After school, i was one of the person who said "i will never learn another language again". But time is changing and learning spanish with Pablo is so much fun, it's completely different to the lessons in school, it's much better!!
