I love languages, traveling, and being outdoors.
I've briefly studied many languages, and I speak Spanish and Turkish well. I'm currently studying Arabic.
I travel whenever I can, and have been to Canada, Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Ireland, Netherlands, Belgium, Turkey, UK, Italy, and Cyprus.
I also take every opportunity to be active by hiking, kayaking, climbing, diving, camping and cycling whenever I am in an area with natural beauty.Me as a Teacher

I started tutoring Spanish as a teenager. After university, I tutored English and Spanish, and then taught Spanish at a university before taking a break to raise my kids. I earned my degree in Education (with a focus on online learning and the adult learner), and earned my CELTA certificate in order to teach English full time. I love teaching English because I love languages and the process of learning them, and would like to help my students reach their goals in language learning.My lessons & teaching style

My general English lessons cover one topic each in a wide range of topics, including aspects of psychology, home life, current events, sports, environment and technology. Lessons are adjusted to meet the student's level. My main goal is to make students talk as much as possible, because only by actually speaking can speaking level be improved.My teaching material

Rose is a nice and patient teacher. She's always always very professional and well prepared. She selects terrific topics for every lesson. She listens carefully all the time and corrects mistakes in a way that doesn't get you out of rhythm. Her language tips are very helpful. Learning English with Rose is always a fun and effortless experience.

I requested the theme of the lesson to be about moving and roommates. During the class we've covered some writing, speaking and reading activities around the topic! There were interesting resources provided for the lesson that I'm sure can help me to find roommates. Thank you, Rose!
