As a resident of one of the most diverse regions of the Southeastern United States, I have the opportunity to interact with people from all over the world on a daily basis. Many of my friends and associates are immigrants and students of English, and this perhaps first sparked my interest in teaching the language. When I'm not teaching, I'm usually working in one of the three musical groups that I play in professionally, or studying the Japanese language.Me as a Teacher
I've been teaching English for nearly 10 years. My experience on iTalki began in 2016. Before that, I worked as an English tutor for local companies, and I currently also tutor piano, guitar, and vocals to children and adults.My lessons & teaching style
My lessons are designed to help you improve across many dimensions such as grammar, pronunciation, vocabulary, and phrasing. Using course books like DK's English for Everyone, Amazingly Easy Phrasal Verbs, and others, I offer hands on explanations of difficult grammar points to help you level up your communication skills both in class and with homework assignments.My teaching material
