Hi, my name is Daniel. I am a family man from the East of England 🏴. I am a professional English Teacher and I also do digital marketing freelance work.
My interests and hobbies include playing the bass guitar, singing, listening to music, going to the gym, boxing, self development, dancing salsa, walking/hiking, animals (I have six cats and eight dogs, all rescued) and nature in general.
Apart from my own interests, I enjoy talking about my student's interests and hobbies and meeting people from around the world and learning about other countries and cultures.
I'm not interested in politics so don't care which country you come from. You are all welcome. :-)Me as a Teacher

I have 14 years teaching experience. I have been teaching here on Italki since 2016 and have given over 13,000 lessons to people from over 100 countries.

All lessons start on the hour. Please don't book on the half hour.
Lessons are 55 or 40 minutes long.
I do not teach children or teenagers under 16 years old, sorry.
Lessons and materials are adapted to your specific needs and objectives.
I realise that you are probably busy with work and family and stuff so I believe lessons should be as fun and productive as possible. English should be something you look forward to! :-)

I was pleasantly surprised to have such a great session with Daniel. Although it wasn’t my first time randomly choosing a teacher for English practice, Daniel provided an unexpectedly rewarding experience. He offered formal IELTS exam questions and simulated the role of a real examiner, which helped me gain a comprehensive understanding of the test format.
