Thanks for clicking on my profile! I'm an English teacher and teacher trainer and, like you, I'm always learning a new language. Whether you're learning English for fun or travel, or to help you manage better in a new country, I know how you feel! Learning a language isn't always easy, but it is so satisfying when you can successfully communicate with someone, read a book, or laugh at a joke.
I've been teaching for about 13 years and enjoy it so much that I train others how to teach.Me as a Teacher
Rather than just practise their English, I want each student to leave each lesson knowing that they can do something more or better than before the lesson started. Because of my knowledge and experience, I can identify students' learning needs during the lesson and implement activities and strategies as needed to practise them. I love helping people to understand and use everyday English, and feel more confident communicating in English.
I have 3 teaching qualifications and 13 years' experience teaching. I've taught both online and in classrooms, groups and 1:1.My lessons & teaching style
My lessons are focused on student learning. That means listening closely to understand the student's interests as well as their weaknesses. I have an eclectic style of teaching that combines useful aspects of different teaching methods. I believe that students can learn effectively through dialogue, but I also provide opportunities to practise vocabulary, grammar and pronunciation using short written and spoken exercises, role plays, repetition and other teaching and learning strategies.My teaching material
