Hello, my name is Mateus. I was born and raised in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. I'm university student who loves travel and meet new people. My hobbies and interest are watching movies, animes, playing games and music, try different foods and learn new languages. I really love to teach people- it's so rewarding seeing and hearing people increase in confidence and ability in Portuguese. I don't have any certified licenses for teaching Portuguese, but because of that, I can teach you real portuguese that we use in casual conversation with friends. The most important thing for me is that you feel as relaxed and comfortable in a lesson as is possible! I fully understand how it's to be in your shoes!! But I will definitely help you to start talking! Using images, texts and articles to increase vocabulary, for complete beginners to advanced learners. Informal and formal conversation. Also we are going to use a memorization app to don't forget what I've learned.
