I have been working with Helene for the past 6 months or more. She is one of the best teacher I have ever had in my life and also such a kind, compassionate and wonderful person. I was able to prepare in a very short time the TEF for Canada and I scored very high, getting better results than expected. It was seriously an amazing result which I could have not achieved without her preparation and expertise. I am also following conversation classes and talk about film/series/books with her. The lessons are never boring, always prepared in details, fun and fitting my needs. Hélène listens and supports you not only looking at the technical point of view of the language but also and especially from the human side. I think the biography on her profile is very true but even more, she is such an attentive person. Plus I always get the best advice on Quebec/Montreal life/personal experiences on living abroad and I suggestions and recommendations for my upcoming move to the Canada!

Hélène is such a wonderful teacher! She is full of patience and kindness. Her personality glows and it makes it easier for students to take risks and not feel uncomfortable. I feel grateful for having found such a magnificent French teacher here on italki!!

Helene is an awesome teacher. We have time for conversational french as well as time to discuss my assignment. She understands my needs and tailors the assignments according to my interests. During free-form conversation she tries to speak so that I am both understanding and also challenged. She stops to clarify when I don't understand. I'm having lots of fun with the assignments and our lessons!

Aujourd'hui, j'ai appris que le mot "poigne" est utilisé en québécois pour désigner absolument tout! J'adore ça !

Helene is an amazing tutor. She adapts her methods magnificently to the needs and level of the student. She is passionate about teaching and is super kind and encouraging.
