Certified teacher with 4 years of experience Ciao!☀️ I'm Paola, I am a native Italian speaker and a certified teacher. I'm from Apulia, in Southern Italy, from a beautiful city on the Adriatic Sea called Bari. I'll be very happy to help you in your journey through the Italian language and culture. As a language student myself, I know the struggle, but I promise you it's going to be fun! Getting in touch with new cultures and meeting people from all over the world is what I love the most about this job, I feel it really gives you a wider perspective of the world. I am also a bit of a language nerd - I speak English, Russian, Polish, and I've just started studying French and Greek. I have a MA in Italian Language and Culture for Foreigners from the University of Bologna, as well as a DITALS II Certification from the University of Siena. This background helped me form a teaching method that supports students in both their knowledge-building and in their motivation. I have been teaching Italian since I was a student - as a volounteer, in schools, and online. I have experience in teaching Italian to both teenagers and adults, and in preparing them for exam certifications. Learning is a neverending journey, so I constantly try to keep abreast of new teaching techniques by attending conferences, webinars and specialised courses.
