Hello! I’m Andrei, a theater director and educator from Saint-Petersburg, Russia. My journey has taken me across Europe and the USA, sharing Russian theater and culture with diverse audiences. I offer Russian lessons online for those who want to explore the language through its rich artistic heritage. My love for English has opened doors worldwide, and in 2018, I was honored as a Fulbright Visiting Scholar, teaching Russian theater at American universities. This experience deepened my belief in language as a bridge between cultures. If you’re passionate about Russian art, music, and culture, I’d love to help you discover the language in a creative and inspiring way.
As a tutor, I've been teaching Russian online for about 7 years. During this time I've taught around 150 students - from beginners to advanced. Among my students I have had an American military pilot, an embassy officer in Kazakhstan, dozens of college students, and many others.
It's not enough to learn grammar and vocabulary to master a foreign language. One has to be immersed into a language people really speak. So I try to create the environment that is encouraging and natural in this respect.
As a person who was trained in voice and speech class in the Saint-Petersburg State Theater Arts Academy, I can also help you significantly improve your pronunciation.
During my lessons I use various exercises, texts and games, as well as interviewing and retelling. I also have my own educational online resources.My teaching material

J'apprécie beaucoup mes leçons avec Andrei. Nous discutons d'un thème pendant une heure, sur la base de questions-réponses.
