Hi! I’m Yulia, a certified Russian teacher and language coach. I work with beginners and A1–B1 students, including partners of Russian speakers, who want to feel comfortable using Russian in daily life.
My lessons combine a clear structure with the communicative approach. We focus on speaking from the first lesson, useful grammar, and natural vocabulary for real situations — always at a calm, supportive pace.
I trained at Moscow State University (Russian Language Centre) and create my own materials, including courses, Prosto. Russian Podcast and a graded readers for beginners.

My teaching is built on three key principles.
1. Clear and open communication
I see our work as a partnership. We regularly review your progress, discuss what feels easy or challenging, and adjust the lessons accordingly. This helps us stay focused and move forward with confidence.

Your goals shape every lesson. Whether you want to speak more freely, improve listening, or build a strong foundation, I design each class with clear objectives and practical outcomes in mind.
3. Supportive and realistic approach
I create a calm and encouraging environment where mistakes are part of the process, and doubts don’t stop your progress. My lessons & teaching style
My lessons are structured, practical, and focused on real communication.
I use the communicative approach, so you actively speak Russian and learn how to use it in real-life situations. I also integrate coaching techniques to support reflection, motivation, and steady progress. My teaching is designed specifically for adult learners, with clear explanations and realistic goals.
I offer two lesson formats:
1. Structured lessons
Based on a coursebook and selected materials. We work on speaking, listening and reading with a clear plan and progression.
2. Speaking lessons
Conversation-focused classes built around topics relevant to your life, with guidance, feedback, and useful vocabulary.My teaching material
