Hello, my name is Dalia! I am a native English teacher from Philadelphia, United States. I'm excited to help you with your English!
I teach kids, and also help teens and adults prepare for IELTS, TOEFL, or Cambridge exams.
I hold a Bachelor's Degree from McGill University and a TESOL certification. I have taught ESL online since 2016, and also have experience teaching in person at English academies and schools.Me as a Teacher
With over a decade of experience in English teaching and intercultural communication, I can help you obtain the results you want and need — whether you're preparing for an interview, putting together a presentation, studying for an exam, or getting ready for a trip abroad. We'll work together to create a learning plan, so you can feel confident speaking and reading in English!My lessons & teaching style
I have experience teaching a variety of students, from children at a beginner level to adult professionals working in business and tech. The lessons will be tailored to your needs and goals.
In our first trial class, we'll get to know each other. I'll ask some questions about you and your English learning background. After that, we'll speak together so you can get some real-world practice in English. We may do exercises in vocabulary, grammar, reading, or listening, do a mock interview, or run through practice exams. With children, I often play games or do activities.

Dalia helped me prepare for the speaking section in the TOEFL. The lessons were very helpful, we mostly ptacticed questions type 1&2 (which is where I struggle the most) and Dalia gave me some really good tips. She was prepared for our lesson and was very friendly and professional. :)
