Hi! This is Ziyu :)
I hold a bachelor's degree in Chinese Language and Literature. Following my graduation from university, I started my journey as a Chinese teacher on Italki since 2020.

After graduating from university, I began teaching Chinese online. Over the course of three years, I have interacted with and taught over 200 students, conducting more than 1000 lessons.
During weekends, I teach at a Chinese school in Munich, where many Chinese children born in Germany face unique challenges in learning Chinese.
I believe that Chinese is an elegant and deeply meaningful language, and I thoroughly enjoy delving into the profound meanings behind Chinese characters. I hope I can assist you in learning Chinese and help you develop a love for this language :) My lessons & teaching style

Great lesson with Ziyu! We talked about the new year 2026. We talked about how different things - like buying stocks, how people get after drinking alcohol, how people choose names for their children in China and how Ziyu's parents look after her. I enjoy conversation lessons with Ziyu because she is able to talk about many different topics!

Great lesson with Ziyu! We talked about the holidays, Labubu, buddhism, sleeping on the plane and people who sleep early/late. Ziyu is always good to talk to and practice conversations. Ziyu is easy to understand and our discussions are a good back-and-forth.!
