About Me

Hi, I'm Fabien. Originally from Paris, I have a real passion for travel and also complicated languages. In fact I studied Mandarin, Japanese and majored in Russian. After spending a few years in Moscow and traveling to Asia I decided to stop for a while and settled in London where I've been working as a French tutor and a dialect coach in the film industry for more than seven years. I love cinema, cooking, traveling, getting to know people from different cultures and I always look forward to meeting students from all over the world.

Me as a Teacher

I am very patient, warm and consistent and teach in a very communicative way and always trying to tailor my tuition to the interests and learning style of my students.

My lessons & teaching style

My lessons are usually task-based and centered around practical functions. Grammar and vocabulary is taught in a very progressive way and always within a context. During each lesson we will work on four different skills such as speaking, listening, reading and writing using a great variety of teaching materials reflecting real situations. Each of my courses will aim at: - Improving your listening and conversation skills - Explaining grammar rules with cognitive methodology - Introducing new vocabulary using specific learning methods - Enhancing your writing skills Teaching all levels from absolute beginners to advanced (A1 to C2 levels).
