As a highly skilled and experienced educator, I have spent over five years teaching English as a private tutor and consulting teacher. My diverse background in real-world business and higher education, totaling 13 years, has greatly benefited my ability to effectively teach a range of students from various backgrounds and abilities. I have also had the opportunity to volunteer in challenging environments with limited resources in Ecuador, Asia, Guyana, and Thailand, further enhancing my adaptability and cultural competence. My teaching style is centered around casual conversation classes where we can discuss a variety of everyday topics in a low-pressure environment. While we can also delve into more structured subjects upon request, many of my students find it helpful to use these lessons as an opportunity to practice their conversational English while I offer guidance on grammar and pronunciation.
