Bonjour, je m'appelle Carine, je suis française et j'habite en France ! I have 12 years of experience teaching French as a foreign language: 7 years on Italki ( more than 3 000 lessons) and 5 years of face-to-face tutoring in England. All these teaching years have allowed me to gain experience teaching a broad range of pupils from basic to advanced levels and from children to senior students. I have also been teaching two groups in an English company and I also taught groups of children for the company Les Puces Early Years. Before, I used to be a graphic designer and a Graphic Design teacher for seven years. My education: a Master of Art from Aberdeen University, Scotland.

At the moment I believe that I have had over 170 lessons with Carine over the years, and she is without a doubt my favorite teacher. She is always patient, even when I make the same mistakes over and over. Sometimes we have very structured lessons around grammar or DELF exercises, and other times we have more casual lessons where we talk and discuss different subjects or current events. I can highly recommend Carine as a teacher, both for beginners and more advanced students :)

I’ve been studying with Carine for over 5 years (!). She motivates and encourages me, and I continue to learn so much from her. I always enjoy our lessons, which are structured but also flexible; they include conversation, writing, grammar, vocabulary, dictées, reading French literature, and working through textbooks. Carine is patient with my mistakes, and has a great sense of humor, too. I can’t recommend her highly enough. Merci, Carine!

I’ve been learning French with Carine for 5 months now, and I love our classes. She’s a lovely, patient teacher. She always provides me with plenty of useful materials and homework to practise the language between our lessons. I truly recommend her!
