Hello guys! I'm from Bahia, Brazil, I speak Portuguese, English and Spanish. As a tutor, I have taught Portuguese to foreigners of different nationalities, ages and levels since 2017. In my classes, I encourage my students to talk freely about any subject in a relaxed way. That way, even my shy students can get super comfortable. I also work with children and adolescents, so if you have a child who wants to learn Brazilian Portuguese I am the right teacher in this area, I am professionally able to attend them. I know how hard it is to learn a language, but it is not impossible. Together, we will improve your pronunciation, fluency, understanding, and reading. I hope to see you soon! Hi student,
I have two types of lessons:
The informal tutoring: We will talk about various free topics, or subjects chosen by the student or the teacher, I can make corrections if you like, answer some questions about our culture, our language and the different Brazilian pronunciations and their peculiarities.
And Br. PT GRAMMAR: In this lesson, we will work grammar, pronunciations from different places in Brazil, vocabulary, reading, culture.
The choice of lesson varies according to what the student is looking for at the moment and according to their level.

Ludmilla is amazing. She makes learning fun and comfortable. I was VERY shy to speak in Portuguese before taking these classes with her and she is helping to to be more comfortable. I didn’t realize I could have actual conversations in Portuguese because I would always be afraid to speak with native speakers even though I understood much of what was said. She is great and I love the classes. I am so glad I found her on italki! ❤️

I have had 200 lessons with Ludmilla over the last 4 years. She has brought me from a beginner to where I can can hold a decent conversation with native Brazilians. She is very patient and adapts the lessons based on your level and interests; music, food, grammar, etc. You will enjoy your lessons and come away from each one with the feeling that you learnt something.
