Hello, everyone! My name is Shoko and I’m a friendly native Japanese teacher living in Brazil.
I love meeting new people and learning different languages and cultures. I am passionate about teaching Japanese and the best thing about my job is being able to help my students to achieve their goals and dreams in life through language learning.
I’m now raising bilingual children with my Brazilian husband. I love exploring new places, trying and cooking various dishes from around the world, reading books and watching movies.
I hope to get to know you and help you with your Japanese learning goals!

I’m a certified native Japanese teacher and I’ve been teaching Japanese as a foreign language for over 10 years: 5 years teaching at universities in Argentine and Brazil and 7 years teaching online. I have worked with students of all levels―from absolute beginner to advanced―from all over the world!
I love learning languages as well as teaching Japanese, so I understand quite well the difficulties and pleasures in your language learning journey. Sometimes it hard to keep motivated, but I’ll do my best to give you the pleasure, motivation and confidence. I’m always searching and trying new and different teaching methods to develop my teaching skills and abilities.My lessons & teaching style
