The second thing to mention is a young English urchin. I believe his needles are still sharp. And last but not least I would like to say thank you for your classes, your patience and your patient reviews that you carry on writing against all odds. Even in the heat of Madrid. Even for people who never read reviews. Or just never read. So don't even hope to lay back: I always read all your reviews just for fun (even when they're bizarre, ha-ha), and I've never missed the one. I have just finished a package of IELTS class with Chris. To be frank, it is so superb 😁 My intention, which is to improve mostly in speaking part and some in writing part, was literally fulfilled. I can be aware of my errors and know how to deal with them, particularly countlessly repetitive using same and simple words, because of Chris; I really appreciate 😊 I still have some aspects on that need to be brushed up, part 2 in particular 🥲, though I am pretty sure that I could get through them by the lessons with Chris. Chris is the perfect teacher you can only dream of and here's why: Firstly, he prepares modern and interesting material for his students, which is very important in learning foreign languages. Secondly, Chris is very erudite, you can talk to him on any topic. Thirdly, he's very flexible, and is ready to consider all your wishes in terms of how your lessons will go with him. Fourthly, Chris is funny, he likes to joke. This will undoubtedly prepare you for real life surrounded by native speakers. Fifth, he's very kind. He'll always help you to cope with any situation you are faced with in terms of language, whether it be exams, interviews or just help you not to get lost in a conversation with native speakers. Lessons with Chris is a friendly conversation, during which you get what you need. Time flies by in class with Chris. He'll find all your gaps in the language and will try to fill them in if you make an effort as well. No one will remain indifferent, having once tried these lessons

I decided to take the C1 exam some time ago. My level at that time was somewhere between B2 and C1 (CAE) and speaking was my worst skill. So I registered with italki and had 9 lessons with Chris. In the beginning we had general speaking lessons, while the last lessons were specifically for CAE speaking test. Chris gave me great feedback, telling me what to avoid or how to speak more "academically". He suggested alternative vocabulary for my most repeated words and great ideas for further activities that I could do on my own. In the end, I passed the exam with ease (190 points from speaking). Thank you Chris!
