HI! I am Paolo, a certified teacher of Italian and Spanish. I come from Bassano del Grappa, a little town near Padua and Venice. I got a PhD in Political History, a MPhil in Philosophy, a MA and a BA in Education and Philosophy. During the last five years I've been working as a professional teacher of Italian and Spanish, both in Italy and Spain, always combining my study and research activity at the university with my vocation for teaching. I have been teaching to college students in public and private schools, to adults in language schools, and also at the university. I consider myself a good reader and listener, willing to share ideas with new students.Me as a Teacher
I've been working as a language teacher since 2014. I've been teaching to students of almost all ages and educational degrees, from secondary school to university, and in language schools both in Italy and Spain. I adopt a communicative approach, without dismissing the importance of focusing on specific aspects of the language when needed. I love to transmit not only the language, but also the cultures of Italy and Spain. For this reason I love to use movies, musics and so on during the classes, and I hope that our lessons will give you a taste of these countries. And that you will learn more than just a new language.My lessons & teaching style
I will provide you with all the material we need in order to reach your goal and ameliorating your language skills. I am very flexible in using whatever type of material that can help us working efficiently during the classes. All the lessons are personalized according to your needs, your interests and your ambitions.

Paolo is a fantastic teacher. He is very responsive to the needs of the student, and is always happy to focus on what the student wants to study.
However he also pushes you hard to communicate in Italian as much as possible. In the short time I have been learning with Paolo, my confidence in communicating in Italian has grown fantastically.
His experience teaching languages in multiple settings clearly translates well to the online environment.
I would highly recommend Paolo as a language teacher.
