Hi/Hola/Salaam! Welcome to my italki Teacher page. I am a Sudanese American who lives in the United States. My native languages are Arabic and English. I learned English when I first moved to the United States at 4 years old. I am currently learning Spanish, so I COMPLETELY understand how difficult it is to learn a second/third language. I have been tutoring/teaching on italki for about 5 years now. I have experience in teaching English to both children and adults. I have worked with beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels students. I have also helped prepare student for their IELTS, TOEFL, and OET tests. I always make sure my students understand that the most important part of learning a new language is to PRACTICE. In addition to practicing language skills with my students, I make sure to: • Provide feedback and a list of their mistakes, with corrections • New Vocabulary • Grammar/Sentence formation • Homework/Study material (worksheet, writing prompts) • And more depending on your level I will start the first lesson by testing your language level, so I can individualize the session and to cater to YOU and YOUR needs. I am here to help YOU and to make YOU feel confident in speaking, reading, and writing in English. I will make the session fun and very interactive.
