I'm a CELTA certified English teacher and a native Arabic speaker and teacher.
I've been teaching students of all ages for about 12 years and it's something I enjoy and every lesson is different and tailored to the student's needs and interests. Language is about communication, so learning how to communicate in your specific daily needs is something everyone should start with when learning a language, I have my own way which I tested on myself first and then other students and it works well.
I like languages and I'm always interested in finding new ways to approach learning and teaching them. I'm also interested in other cultures and how things work around the world.
Me as a Teacher
As a teacher, I'm pretty patient, flexible and adaptive. I don't believe there's only way to learn something, each person is different, so I try to find out how things work with different people so I can help in the best way possible.
My lessons & teaching style
My teaching style depends on the student.
There are, of course, a set of rules that we all teachers use while teaching, but there are things that teachers should be flexible about, try to be patient and as supportive as possible.
To me, language learning takes time and practice. The amount of time needed depends on how much you practice which means any goals no matter how high are perfectly achievable with the right guided practice.

Teacher’s pick
This was my first lesson in Libyan Arabic. Anas has a great sense of humor. We mostly spoke Arabic after the first bit of class and he created a short scenario in the language and showed me the structure of the present tense through examples that we then drilled. I will definitely have to work on my intonation for questions in particular but I'm looking forward to reviewing and learning more in our next lesson.

Very good conversation with Anas, he told me a lot about his country, the weather, the native languages, religion, culture, the economy, etc. and he has a good attitude as a teacher, thanks, Anas.
