Ciao! My name is Francesca and I'm from Vicenza, Italy. At the moment I live in Calgary, Canada where I am pursuing a PhD in Languages and Cultures. I hold a Bachelor Degree in Italian Literature from the University of Verona, and a Master's in Romance Philology from the University of Trento. I am passionate about literature, history, linguistics, films and music. I love being in touch with people from different countries and learning about new cultures and languages.

Me as a Teacher

I have been teaching Italian for almost 4 years. I like creating a nice, supportive and friendly learning environment where students can feel at ease and without the fear of making mistakes.

My lessons & teaching style

In my classes, I incorporate a variety of activities to help you develop all four language skills: speaking, listening, writing, and reading. I believe it’s essential to start with key common phrases and use grammar to support your language growth. From there, we’ll apply what you’ve learned through conversation, focusing on topics that interest you the most.
