Ciao, nice to meet you! My name is Marco and I'm a native Italian speaker and professional Italian and English teacher from Milan. A language learner myself, besides Italian and English I speak German, French, Chinese and a bit of Spanish. I've been living abroad for 8 years and I'm currently in China where I work as a language teacher and musician.Me as a Teacher
I've taught thousands of lessons online, as well as in person in Italy and abroad, meeting people from around the world and seeing them improve lesson after lesson -- a very rewarding experience.
I specialize in intermediate Italian for English native speakers (I'm also a professional English teacher and that helps me understand the challenges you might face), but all levels and nationalities are welcome.
I can help you fix your grammar, improve your fluency, train your listening or expand your vocabulary. I can train you for a trip to Italy or for a job interview. We'll discuss your needs in detail, so no matter how broad or specific they are, I'll prepare the right classes for you. My lessons & teaching style
Everyone has different needs, so I'll start by asking you exactly what you want to work on -- if you're not sure don't worry, we'll find out together! I'll prepare the right classes for you and we'll focus on what you need the most, be it conversation, vocabulary, grammar, Italian for traveling or for business.
We’ll use a variety of resources and talk about different topics. I'll correct your mistakes and I'll type down new words and sentence patterns that are useful to you. Based on your needs, we'll also do listening practice, exercises, reading and other activities.

Mark has it all. Apart from being a very experienced and proficient teacher, he's good humoured, quick witted and great at improvising in the moment. This leaves you feeling you're very much learning a language for the 'real world' as opposed to the stylised world of a formal language programme.
