Me as a Teacher
I have a bachelor's degree in Russian. I was a middle school teacher in Russia, and have been tutoring adults here on Italki for the past 2,5 years.
I myself love learning languages, I've learnt English on my own and I think I have a pretty good idea of how challenging the learning process might be sometimes (oftentimes), so I'll do my best to support you.
I can help you if you want to improve your pronunciation, grammar, spoken Russian, or need Russian for travel. I will tailor my lessons to your needs.My lessons & teaching style
I offer structured lessons and informal conversation practice.
1) Structured lessons options:
- work with a textbook, mine or yours;
- work on a specific grammar aspect you'd like to understand better;
- learning through direct method (it does NOT mean memorising and endlessly repeating phrases, it simply means that I'll teach you in Russian and only Russian. you'll be able to form simple sentences on the first lesson. the method is best for complete beginners.)
2) Conversation practice:
- informal conversation (we can talk about anything you're interested in!);
- detailed discussion of a specific topic you'd like to practice.5.0

Very encouraging fшrst lesson, she spoke all the time in Russian and knew how to speak to me so that I could understand most of the things with a A2 level, she was patient and wrote things I could not understand down. She made an effort to never changed to English and I really appreciate that as it made me feel that I was communciating in Russiaв !
