Hi! I'm Celia, your online portuguese tutor. I worked at Spanish bank for 20 years, so I can talk about business. I'm learning to speak English and Italian on italki. I love to learn about different cultures. Also, I enjoy talking about food, culture, traveling and many other things.
Me as a Teacher
I am a very calm teacher and it is important that everyone feels comfortable! I like to meet new people and classes should be relaxed, so do not worry if you can not communicate in Portuguese, I'm here to help you. If there is something important that you need me to know, feel free to tell me. I like to listen and always help. Never be afraid of making mistakes when talking to me, because with mistakes we learn. I became a tutor, after being a student of italki and knowing that this method online, really works.My lessons & teaching style
My teaching style is in accordance with the needs of each student. I offer a list of subjects that we can talk in class and the student chooses, because it is important that he has an affinity or interest for the chosen subject. I know: - several places in Brazil and abroad. - Brazilian, Italian e Japanese food - finance (I worked 20 years in a Spanish bank) - grammar of the Portuguese language etc .... these are just some of the topics we can address in class.My teaching material
