Hi there! I was born and brought up in southern China. Cantonese is my mother tongue and at school I speak Mandarin. I learned Spanish and English at a university. I am a Spanish teacher in a language institute in Shenzhen, near Hong Kong.
With a traditional upbringing, I appreciate the Chinese culture and I would like to share it with my friends and students. While studying other languages I became fascinated how big the world is. I named myself Fresh as a reminder to always keep an open mind and my curiosity alive.

I've been teaching languages professionally since 2013. I've had students of all ages, from an 8 year old kid to a 65 year old retired professional. Most of my students are adults. They are passionate about learning a new language.
Whether it is a 1-on-1 class or a group, I try my best to bring out the potential that is in every student. I'm proud to see every progress my students make.
For me, teaching a language is not just showing how it is spoken or written, but also sharing the colorful culture. I also enjoy learning from my students the difference of cultures.My lessons & teaching style
I make learning fun and easy by using examples, pictures, audio clips, videos, etc. I want my students to get an immersive experience as much as possible, so that they can observe the situation, experience how the words work, and how they can express themselves properly.
I use my experience of learning languages and generate useful tips that they can use to quickly understand and remember.My teaching material

I've been practicing with Reina for a year now and it has been an awesome learning experience. Not only that, but doing so made the recent trip I had in Taiwan and Hong Kong so much better than I expected and I was able to talk to locals, whereas the first trip I had to Asia I felt like it was an impossible language haha. Highly recommend taking classes with her!
Llevo un año practicando con Reina y ha sido una experiencia de aprendizaje buenisima. No solo eso, sino que el hecho de hacerlo hizo que el viaje reciente que hice a Taiwan y Hong Kong fuera mucho mejor de lo que esperaba y pude hablar con gente local, mientras que en el primer viaje que hice a Asia, sentía que era un idioma imposible jaja. ¡Recomiendo mucho tomar clases con ella!
