👩🏫 Teaching is my career, I've been teaching for 8 years with many students from all over the world. I love to give a better understanding of what to expect from Taiwan through my own experiences.
I have been teaching at Italki for more then 5 years. Before teaching here, I was a full-time Chinese teacher in a language school in Taiwan. I taught both group classes and individual students. My lessons & teaching style
I will adapt to every student, so that no one feels rushed if the pace is too fast, Everything to make it comfortable and fun for everyone!
Together, we'll learn traditional Chinese through custom exercises so that you can become fluent not only with Chinese but also Taiwanese people!
So, if you are looking to learn in a fun, easy way and share a lot of laughs in the process, I'll be there to satisfy your needs!
I also have the books for all levels. There are new words, dialogues, articles, grammar, etc. I also have my own hangouts and materials. Alicia has been a great conversational practice teacher. She's so energetic, routinely goes above and beyond, and allows you to take your time and think through your sentences. Whether it's going on tangents about Taiwanese food and drinks, world events, or travel plans, Alicia's lessons are always a refreshing break from the standard textbook studying that comes with learning mandarin. I can't recommend her enough!
