I started teaching English at a language college in 1998, and I have taught both children and adults. I teach General English, Business English, and English through Drama. I can also help with preparation for IELTS, TOEFL, and Russian State Leaving Certificate Examination. If you are interested in learning Russian, I am eager to be your Virgil in the realm of my native tongue. I use various techniques in my lessons, from as simple as grammar and vocabulary drills to songs and videos, and off-the-cuff conversational practice, to more sophisticated ones, such as essay writing and research projects. All the necessary materials are provided. I teach not only a language; I try to expose my students to cultures, values, and customs of the English-speaking countries. I am always eager to discuss books, theatre performances, or films. It should be borne in mind that a language is a means of communication, therefore there is always should be something to communicate about. I welcome students who wish to master or brush up their language, teenagers or adults, for general, test preparation or business purposes.

Я окончил факультет лингвистики Екатеринбургского института международных связей и магистратуру Тринити-колледжа, университета Ирландии, в Дублине по специальности "англоязычная литература Ирландии". Буду рад заниматься разговорным или деловым английским языком с теми, кто продолжает изучение языка или стремится совершенствовать свои знания. Также готов помочь в подготовке к международным и российским экзаменам по английскому языку.

Late arrival/non-attendance policy: 15-minute delay is acceptable. The lesson finishes as scheduled. Lesson cancellation policy: If less than 24-hour notice is given, the lesson will be charged for  except emergencies . In any case, please contact me if you cannot attend the lesson.
