In my lessons, we speak German! :) Learn German using a full immersion method! :) I am Austrian, and have a passion for my mother tongue. German is a beautiful language, and it is key to master it well if you plan to live, work or study in one of the German-speaking countries. I have been teaching German since 2000 to people who need German for their work, for their studies and for travel. I have work experience in teaching business German and test preparation for all levels. And I follow polyglots because they have interesting learning techniques! In my lessons, I use videos with topics that the students prefer, because I think that we learn best when we deal with topics that we love to talk about. PLEASE READ: I am happy to help with rescheduling classes up to 1 day before the scheduled time, but I do not accept last minute changes. I do not teach children on italki - people under 18 years. I teach German and do the lessons mostly in German. Before each lesson, the student works with a video, makes a summary according to their level and learns the vocabulary. During the lesson, we will speak about the video, make role plays and correct the text together. Stefanie is a great teacher, very competent and she has helped me very much with my German! When I first enrolled classes with her, I could understand German a lot, but it was very hard for me to express myself in German. Stefanie helped me to overcome this gap. I especially like the immersive method Stefanie uses, I find it more effective than regular methods that are mostly focused on Grammar. Stefanie is also person from whom one can learn a lot, and the classes are very interesting and insightfull. My sincere recommendations!
