Hello everybody! My name is Ruzana and I am an English, Russian, and Georgian language teacher. What is more, Russian and Georgia are my mother tongues.
My teaching method is a student-based approach, which means that I always listen to my students' needs and consider their desires regarding the style of language learning.
As for my education: I finished Russian school and studied in Georgian universities, the field of studies was English language and Literature. Moreover, I have a unique experience in learning and teaching abroad, I studied in Sweden for one year at Malmo University.
Me as a Teacher
I studied English Language and Literature at Sokhumi State University for three years; afterward, I won in a contest and studied as an exchange student at Malmö University, in Malmö, Sweden, for a year. After returning home, I decided to teach only. However, after a year I started studying for a master's degree in English Philology at Ilia State University. Shortly after, I found out that I love teaching English more than just doing research or reading theories, thus I enrolled in a Teacher Training Educational Program (English Language for Primary/Lower/Upper Secondary School and studied for a year.
My lessons & teaching style
As I have already stated, I teach English, Georgian, and Russian at all levels. My method of study is a student-based approach. Therefore, my lessons will be planned beforehand with a student. Therefore, I always ask students what they would like to study, practice, etc. If you are a beginner, we will start by learning the alphabet and move on reasonably. If you are an intermediate student we can choose some texts to discuss in the target language or practice grammar. In case you are an advanced student and you are fluent, we can discuss different topics about our countries, etc.
So, I am looking forward to meeting you! :)
See you soon! :)

Ruzana is a great teacher. With her help, I've gone from hardly knowing any Georgian to being able to construct complex sentences. I've also been able to use what I've learned in my day-to-day life in Georgia. She's very professional, knowledgeable and adaptable to different student's needs. I highly recommend her.

Ruzana is an excellent teacher and was able to explain everything that I was wondering about, and event patient enough to wait around when it turned out that I was running late to the lesson. Thank you Ruzana! დიდა მადლობა!

I had a good experience indeed. It was super. 😊 She really went over and beyond to explain what she offers as a teacher. We even talked about some cultural aspects of language learning. If I could give a tip I would. If anyone knows how to tip the teacher please don't hesitate to let me know. Thanks. 😊 🤗
Some bills in life you pay because you have to. In this case you would pay because it is a pleasure to contribute to helping another hard Working ⚒ teacher that (just the rest of us 😊) is trying to amend whatever private expenses she might have or not have. 😊

Ruzana listened to what I wanted to learn and how much Georgian I know, and we started learning useful phrases for everyday conversation. I really appreciate her correcting me when I make a mistake and that she makes audio recordings of what we cover in the lesson. This is very valuable for me to practice and learn to pronounce Georgian correctly. Thank you so much Ruzana!
