IELTS Examiner and English Teacher Hi! I'm Ben from the south of England in the UK. I'm a certified IELTS examiner and a qualified English language teacher. I've been tutoring on Italki since 2017! I became a certified IELTS speaking examiner in 2023, while teaching and examining for the British Council in Seoul for two years. I also have additional classroom teaching experience in public schools and language schools in both the UK and South Korea - helping children, teenagers and adults with their English. I also hold a bachelors degree and masters degree in creative writing. My teaching style is very friendly and relaxed. I want to know about your journey and experiences with learning English and help you in a way that works for you. I believe the best way to achieve this is to listen, be patient, and create a comfortable environment. I enjoy teaching English as a second language because it also gives me the opportunity to learn from you, about different cultures and different countries, just as you learn from me. My specialism is helping students prepare for the IELTS exam. I can go through the structure of the test with you, and we can practice example questions together.
