김진아 Jina Kim

진아랑 수업한 지 거의 10개월 됐는데, 그동안 실력 진짜 많이 늘었어. 처음엔 기본적인 문장도 말하기 어려웠는데, 이제는 자신 있게 한국어를 이해하고 기본적인 대화도 할 수 있어. 아직 멀었지만, 계속 공부하면 더 자연스럽게 말할 수 있을 것 같아. 그래서 나는 한국인처럼 말할 때까지 진아랑 계속 배울 거야. I have said it before, but Jina is an amazing teacher for students of all levels. I never would have imagined that I would get this far with Korean, and she has played a huge role in my progress. If you book a class with Jina, you will not regret it.

I used to take lessons with Jina back in early 2020 and I just started back up again today! Jina is just as great as I remember. We spent this first lesson having a general conversation to see how much I remembered and it went much better than I expected! Jina was very encouraging and enthusiastic when I was able to recall something. I definitely recommend her to anyone looking to pick back up a language that you may have set aside for a while. If you’re hesitant to try, I was too, but the experience was great and Jina made the transition back in super smooth.

I only have positive things to say about Jina! Such an amazing, intelligent, kind and understanding person - all of that and more make her a fantastic teacher. She listens well, answers any questions you might have and explains things in a way which makes learning a language a lot easier to understand. I can't recommend her highly enough. My trial lesson with Jina was really pleasant and enjoyable. She took the time to understand why I wanted to learn Korean and we went through some basis phrases (that she also connected to things that I had seen before!) and she took the time to explain nuances that I was confused about. Will definitely be signing up for more lessons with her, highly recommend that everyone give her a shot :)

Jina's lessons are always so fun that it feels like the time goes by fast. She explains everything so well and gives real life examples. Highly recommend!
