If you have ever had a lesson with Sergey, you will understand why everyone gives him 5 stars. Basically, he is an excellent teacher, and a very nice person. The kind you don’t find very often. :)

Sergej is the literal best! I have been learning Russian with Sergej for almost 3 years, which in itself is a testament to his skills and character as a teacher. Not only are his lessons purposeful and helpful, they are also considerate of your learning style and are fun! Разговаривать с Сергеем всегда весело и мне нравятся каждый урок :D We started with the the absolute basics (hello, how are you?) and he taught me how to read and write in Cyrillic since I knew nothing when we started. Now we are moving into complete conversations in Russian. I cannot recommend Sergej enough and I have no doubt he is the perfect Russian instructor regardless of your language level or goals. He knows the balance between speaking practice and grammar instruction. Сергей очень хороший учитель и я его рекомендую!

Sergey is professional, polite, has lots of interesting material to offer, learning with him is always nice and motivating. I am very happy to have found him 😊

I’ve been learning with Sergey for 6 months now and I couldn’t be happier! I can see a significant improvement of what I can do in Russian since I’ve started studying with him. He offers contemporary-style lessons that are carefully structured and planned and is very consistant in providing quality. There’s always a meaningful link between conversation topics, vocabulary and grammar and he often lets you discover things by yourself (read = doesn’t kill you when you invent words and/or make mistakes). On the top of that, he’s a nice and caring person. Choose him if you are looking for a long-term dedicated teacher who will lead you to substantial progress :)
