Thoroughly makes sure you understand the material

Sandra’s the best! I’m almost at 60- 1 hour lessons. She has been patient, encouraging and always helpful. I highly recommend her!

Something was wrong with the italki platform and I kept getting kicked out of our chat. We had to switch to another platform and Ms. Sandra was so chill about it. I have a test next week in my IRL class with like four different tenses and I am struggling, and Ms. Sandra was helping me and I was getting distressed cause I really am struggling to keep all the conjugations straight, but she was so cool and calm and just switched strategies til she figured out what I could do and we built on that. Although I am struggling, I known if I keep going, I will get it eventually!!

Mrs. Sandra Alvarado is simply phenomenal!!! She is by far one of the BEST Spanish teachers I have ever met! She is very thorough, explains things very clearly and concisely. She is very creative and engaging and she makes learning Spanish fun for my daughter 😊. We are so lucky to have found her on italki and would highly recommend to anyone who is looking to learn Spanish!!

I appreciate studying with Sandra because she is an experienced and professional teacher. Even if I have a random request about what I want to study, she has some ideas and resources ready to go because she has been doing this for a while. Even if I switch to English because my production skills are so limited, she sticks to speaking Spanish. I feel like I am finally starting to learn Spanish!
