Hello!
I'm Petr, a certified Russian and English teacher. Welcome to my page!
A bit about me: I live in Moscow, Russia. I graduated from a linguistic university and have been teaching on Italki for 5 years.
I have a wide range of interests—history, literature, sports, movies, new cultures, and travel—so we will definitely find common topics to discuss. Over the years, I've worked with students from 20 different countries and believe that language can open any door. I'm always interested in learning about different cultures, and in our lessons, we often share stories about our countries and traditions.Me as a Teacher
For students studying Russian, I offer tailored lessons from A1 to C2. If you are a beginner, we will start from scratch. Russian is my mother tongue, and I'm thrilled to teach it to you!
For students studying English, I offer both traditional and conversation-based lessons. My goal is to help you speak with confidence, fluency, and accuracy.
Many moons ago, I worked as a journalist, so I never miss an opportunity to listen to your stories or share mine—in the language you're studying, of course. I’ve even written short stories for my students to make the learning process more engaging, and I always encourage them to do the same. Want to try? Let's do it! My lessons & teaching style
Personally, I prefer the communicative approach. I believe that speaking and listening are key, so we will communicate and listen to a lot of audio materials. However, we will also do a lot of reading—I believe that reading is the best way to learn new vocabulary.

Petr is a good teacher for the following reasons:-
*Asks what knowledge you have already or Russian regularly.
*Has a structure and good learning materials both audio and written.
*Gives good advice on how you can improve.
*Explains things well and leaves space for questions.
*Gives you space to practice and corrects if you are wrong (Then gives you a tailored way to remember it ) and if you are correct you get praise.
*Encouraging teacher that has a good tailored approach to your learning style.
I would highly recommend Petr for the above reasons.
There are many more positive things I could say but this review is very long already and if you book him for a lesson you will see for yourself.
