Hello everyone! My name’s Christina and I teach Russian and Greek since 2013. I have both Greek and Russian roots and I’m a native speaker of both languages. I love foreign languages! I have already mastered English and I’m currently studying Japanese. I love meeting people from all over the world and learning about their culture!
My hobbies are: chess, piano, martial arts, drawing, cinema and video games.Me as a Teacher
Learning a foreign language is not only about learning grammar and vocabulary. You actually learn a new culture and a new way of thinking! I strongly believe that the students must have fun during the lesson as if their enjoying their hobbies! My top priority is to base the lessons on the individual goals and interests of each learner.My lessons & teaching style

I've been taking lessons with Christina for about a year now and I'm glad that I found her profile! Christina is a super patient and personable teacher. She paces the lessons well so that you understand the material. I really enjoy our classes as they are very structured and she is also open to discussing other relatable topics in Greek such as video games, hobbies, history, etc. I appreciate this as it really helps the grammar and vocabulary stick when it's relevant to your life and hobbies. I've had the pleasure of learning Greek with a great teacher. Christina approaches each my error with understanding and patience, taking the time to explain the correct forms and usage in a way that is both clear and easy to understand.
Her method of explanation is especially noteworthy. Christina breaks down complex grammatical structures and vocabulary into manageable, bite-sized pieces, making the learning process feel much less daunting.
Moreover, her encouragement and support have been instrumental in building my confidence in using the Greek language, which motivates me to keep pushing forward, even when the going gets tough.
