Yuuki@Anime Sensei

First class has left me SUPER motivated! ive been really nervous to start speaking but this was a 10'/10 expreince and i cant wait to book more and continue my Japanese journey with Yuukisan!

We talked about a lot of different subjects. Most interestingly, the discussion on how people are raised differently in America vs Japan was a fun topic.

I've met with Yuki twice so far and it has been great conversation practice. I'm very into anime myself and he does a great job of using that interest to help move conversation, introduce new vocabulary and grammar points, and practice speaking and pronunciation. I can already tell my listening comprehension has improved. I look forward to our meetings because learning Japanese while also talking about anime is just such a fun way to practice the skill. Must recommend!

Yuuki Sensei is awesome! The lesson was conversation guided which is exactly what I need to make my Japanese far more practical. There is a perfect blend between known vocabulary and knew vocabulary. Yuuki Sensei asked my interests and hobbies so that we can use them as a means to use practical Japanese and have real-life conversations. I felt very comfortable using what little Japanese I knew right from the start and Yuuki Sensei never made me feel self-conscious about my skill level and guided me in the correct directions when I needed it. I immediately booked more lessons! I look forward to working with Yuuki Sensei!

I really enjoyed my lesson with Yuuki-Sensei! As someone who gets nervous when speaking in Japanese, Sensei did a great job setting the pace and flow of conversation, which I really appreciated. We also got to chat about fun topics like Anime, Manga, and Video Games. I am really looking forward to our next lesson!
