¡Holaaaa! I'm Marta and I'm a Spanish teacher here on italki. I'm from Valladolid, Spain. I love music, movies, books and cooking (especially baking). I currently live in Spain but I've been in Ireland for 5 years and this experience has helped me to realise how much I like to learn about other cultures and for that, I need to learn more languages so we can encourage each other :) I really enjoy meeting new people and being able to share my passion for this language.Me as a Teacher
I'm energetic, patient and kind. I know how frustrating it is to speak in a different language and not being able to find the right words but let's look on the bright side: we can communicate with a person from a different country and shorten the distance between us! Besides, I'm here to help you become a more confident speaker and I know for a fact with the right amount of motivation and hard work anyone can master a language.My lessons & teaching style
I use a PowerPoint with activities taken from textbooks adapted for each student's level. The slides may include: articles, videos, recordings and grammar activities. I also take into account your own interests and make them part of the class as much as possible. My ultimate goal is that you learn something meaningful in each class.My teaching material

Marta est une professeure tres bien. Elle est tres structure et a un bon plan pour tout ses classes. Elle me donne beaucoup de confiance parler en espanol et j'ai l'impression d'avancer avec chaque classe. Elle aussi donne envie de continuer.

Marta is a wonderful and kind teacher. I've had a lot of lessons already and I hope a lot more will follow. Because she is kind, but firm and she will teach you a lot of things 'on the way/go'. For example: she tells me to summarize a paragraph in my own words. That seems like a simple assignment, but in fact you'll learn a lot from it i.e. vocabulary, fluency and understanding of a language.
