I started studying Chinese with Yuli in July 2024. Back then, I was a complete beginner with some knowledge of Pinyin and basic words, but I decided to take her lessons three to four time a week, and was able to pass HSK 3 in September 2024 and HSK 4 in January 2025 with very high scores (over 90%) while working full time in Tokyo. After another 6 months of studying with her, I was able to pass HSK 5 with a score of 257 out of 300 in July 2025, allowing me to start in an advanced level course at a language center in Taiwan and communicating with the locals effectively when I moved there the following month. I am glad that I decided to study with her instead of self studying because in one year, not only was I able to pass these exams but my oral communication was also fairly good. I can recommend her to anyone trying to learn the language regardless of your level.

Yuli is a great teacher, she always supportive , tries to answer all of my questions with a easy to understand manner. In her class I study not only the language but the Chinese culture as well.

Having Yuli 老师 as a tutor for studying Chinese-Mandarin has truly been a great experience! She offers a variety of teaching materials and is helpful in modifying teaching material to make it best fit my needs/interests. From the start, she encouraged daily diary writing, which not only helped improve writing ability but also has been very useful for studying and learning new vocabulary. Each class starts with a daily life conversation in Chinese. Yuli 老师 is very helpful (and very patient 😊) with helping me form sentences and adding new vocabulary. This really has helped me and has made me feel more confident in using Chinese to talk about daily life things. 我真的很高兴在这里见到您；并能向您学习。非常感谢您的努力工作
