Ayman Fawy

Ayman encouraged me to continue learning and that I have come a long way in my Arabic learning journey. That was helpful to hear as learning can be discouraging at times since it's such a hard language to learn. I feel pretty good about my progress and I'm so glad that Ayman understands how difficult it is and he has really had a good approach to teaching and being so patient while doing conversation.

Ayman helped me a lot to talk about cultural differences between the US and Egypt and understanding some new vocabulary that is frequently used with these topics. Ayman always makes good conversation and stays in Arabic even when there are things I don't know yet. He teaches me while speaking in Arabic which I appreciate so much. I look forward to our next lesson.

Ayman helped me to understand some new concepts in regards to fasting. He also helped me to understand a podcast I listened to and had a lot of questions about. I always learn new things when talking to Ayman and I really appreciate when he explains the concept to me and how to use it properly in Arabic.

Ayman helped me to understand the terminology in Egyptian Arabic for working individuals including salary employees versus hourly and commission based employees and how different it is from American work culture. This was a very helpful conversation and I feel like it will directly help me to interact with Egyptians and understand their way of life and how they work. I am excited to have gotten this far in my Arabic learning journey with Ayman's help.

Ayman helped me when speaking in Egyptian Arabic to understand new concepts about teaching and politics and to use them in sentences so that I can have practice. It is always a great lesson with Ayman. I am excited to study the notes and to memorize some new words to use them correctly in the future. I feel more confident in speaking Arabic every time we meet.

Ayman helps me every time to understand new concepts and cultural nuances of Egypt. He is very patient in speaking to me in Arabic and even when I don't understand he explains things in Arabic as much as possible before anything. I appreciate that so much as I need to speak in Arabic a lot to get better. Today he taught me about cultural differences between the US and Egypt in regards to spending habits and tolerance to different types of weather. It was a very good lesson and I am going to diligently study the new words and phrases he taught me so I can continue to improve my Arabic.
