Hello! My name is Ken, and I’m a native Korean speaker from Seoul, Korea.
I love to learn languages and meet people from different cultures.
When I'm not traveling, I enjoy reading books, playing video games (Switch 2 and PS5), learning new languages (Spanish right now!) and trying local cuisine :)Me as a Teacher
I teach Korean with a strong focus on practical daily conversation, helping you speak naturally and confidently in real-life situations. To support this, I also use the textbook Korean Grammar in Use (Beginning, Intermediate, and Advanced) as a structured guide. This allows us to cover essential grammar step by step while always connecting it back to real conversations.
If you’re preparing for exams or want to dive deeper into grammar, I can definitely help with that too. But my main goal is to make Korean feel comfortable and useful for you in everyday life — not just in a classroom or textbook. My lessons & teaching style
My lessons are casual, friendly, and flexible. I focus on:
Daily Korean conversation: Useful words, phrases, and expressions you can use right away.
Listening and speaking practice: Lots of real dialogue and repetition to build confidence.
Customized topics: We can talk about K-dramas, K-pop, travel in Korea, food, or any topic that interests you!
Grammar: I use "Korean Grammar in Use - Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced". We can go over topics from these books if you want.
Exam explanations: Only if you ask — otherwise, we’ll keep the focus on speaking.My teaching material

Ken is a brilliant teacher, he speaks fluent English. I really enjoyed his class because he is always being patient and professional. He explains things very well and made my class interesting. I am a beginner in Korean but still I learned a lot from him.
He made me a teaching plan so I feel motivated for the next class .
It's worth learning with him and I recommend his classes for no doubt!! :))
