About Me

I moved from the US to Italy at age 7, so I know what it’s like to learn a new language from scratch. Later, I studied French and Spanish, which deepened my understanding of language learning. With over 10 years of teaching experience and a degree in Sociology and Psychology, I make learning fun, approachable, and engaging. My background in acting also adds creativity and energy to my lessons. Most of all, I’m a people person - I believe language is all about connection, and I’m here to help you feel confident every step of the way! I started teaching at the age of 16 in linguistic centres in Italy, I would teach English and American pronunciation, and I continue to teach to this day. Throughout my career, I've handled all age groups, from toddlers to 70+ students, and all sorts of contexts, from 1-2-1 business English lessons to full classrooms in public schools. My patience is my forte, everyone has a different way of learning, so I focus on figuring out the best way to help each student improve with their own strengths, needs and interest. I'm very flexible to students' needs, as long as the student is honest about what they'd like to improve on. Whether that's starting from learning the alphabet or going straight to hardcore pronunciation exercises.
