Hello, everyone! I'm Vlada and I am Ukrainian. I speak Ukrainian and Russian all my life. Being bilingual, I was quite interested in my native languages and beyond, which made me start learning English when I was 7. Now I am an English and Ukrainian. I am inspired by music, art, and literature, as I see them as beautiful expressive tools. I believe consuming the content you love in the language you're trying to speak is one of the best ways really get it and improve. I like helping people express themselves and feel comfortable even when making mistakes since it is a part of any process.
Me as a Teacher
I am a patient and attentive teacher. I have experience training students for exam purposes, conducting interviews, expanding and deepening their knowledge in Business English, Medical English, English for Illustrators, Animators, etc. I have worked with quite a few beginners and know how to make a good start. I want to help you enjoy the process of language learning and overcome any speaking barriers. I know languages are fairly hard for those who are only starting to learn. Encountering the Slavic group of languages can be scary even) Though once you start getting the feel of it you will fall in love with its complexity and have no problem speaking fluently.
My lessons & teaching style
My teaching style is an intuitive structure. Students are different and I like seeking the best approach to each. That is why I appreciate the feedback a lot. I teach students to understand and navigate the language, whether it is a formal conversation, a presentation, or a casual chit-chat; to gradually learn how to get rid of awkward phrasings and start thinking differently, working on weak points. I make sure to pick suitable materials and diverse tasks.

Vlada always has interesting questions ready to ask and is able to help explain words/phrases/memes that you've come across outside the lesson. Thank you!

We had a good combination of grammar and vocabulary today. Vlada is really up-to-date on modern slang and new, trending vocabulary. Thanks for the fun lesson! 😃

Always an enjoyable lesson with Vlada! Vlada is great at drawing your attention to vocabulary and how it is related to other vocabulary that you're already familiar with. Thank you!

Learning Ukrainian with Vlada is a fantastic experience. There’s a harmony between the grammar, vocabulary and practical application of the language. She identifies your weak points quickly and will steer the lessons towards working on that. At the same time she manages to adapt the pace of the course content to your individual needs perfectly.
