Diana

I had the pleasure to improve my Russian knowledge while attending more than 400 lessons with my teacher Diana! It is the way she structured her classes that has motivated and inspired me to take so many lessons. While planning her classes, Diana was always considerate of my wishes and stayed very flexible. She even gave classes on public holidays or during the weekend. Her classes included many interacting tasks and offered me the possibility to train orally while addressing plenty of different topics. I could always count on her ability to correct my spoken or written Russian in a gentle way. A huge advantage in my learning process was also that Diana speaks German very well herself. I don’t regret any moment I spent learning Russian with Diana. Her classes became an important part of my daily life. Thank you Diana for your patience, relaxed atmosphere during your classes, as well as for all your efforts!

I really like Diana. Today was a challenging one for me, but I thoroughly enjoy it. I feel like I've been trapped in a beginners Russian "cocoon" for such a long time, and Diana has brought me out of that in less than a month. The homework exercises she creates are adapted from the topic/subject we are learning. I really appreciate how she intentionally creates exercises that concentrate on my weak areas (which quite frankly is everything right now), specifically Russian case endings. She doesn't rely on the use of tables to memorize these endings, which works for me. Lately, I can't remember endings simply by memorizing grammar tables, but in casual sentences, I do. Her exercises are casual and gradual learning activities and her explanations are concise and LOGICAL. Most instructors spend lots of time giving textbook explanations--without the practical. Diana provides both. To sum up in this session alone, she has answered 6 years of questions I've had in one session.

I definitely recommend trying out a lesson with Diana. This was my first Italki lesson, we had a very nice conversation & planned for the next lesson. She is very good at actively making grammatical corrections and writing phrases down for new learners.

600 Stunden Russisch ITALKI-Unterricht mit Diana - das spricht für sich selbst und ist wohl die beste Referenz! Man spürt ihre Freude, innerliche Präsenz und das „innere Feuer“, das sie in den Unterricht einbringt; das motiviert ungemein, gelegentliche Motivationskrisen zu meistern. Ohne ihre Geduld und ihr Engagement hätte ich wohl längst das Handtuch geworfen. Darüber hinaus verfügt sie über breiteste kulturelle Kenntnisse, die den Unterricht in allen Aspekten bereichern und mir einen tiefen Einblick in die russische Kultur, Alltag und Lebensweise geben. Sie schafft es dadurch immer wieder, den Unterricht spannend, überraschend und abwechslungsreich zu gestalten. Ein sehr großer Vorteil ist für mich zudem, dass Diana perfekt Deutsch spricht! Ihre grosse zeitliche Flexibilität und die Möglichkeit, auch am Wochenende und zu Randstunden Stunden abzuhalten, schätze ich ungemein.
