As a teacher, she's serious when I need to get back on track, and gently reassuring when I am going out on a limb. I couldn't recommend her any more. The classes are full of colorful insights. She opens up a language and culture full of historic and social depth that remind me of turning corners in a small historic city. In the short time learning with her I've become very comfortable speaking -- even knowing i'm making mistakes -- and I feel she has set the perfect atmosphere to learn and practice.

I have been taking Serbian lessons with Duška for 2 years. At first, I was nervous about learning the language, but she had a way of putting me at ease. Duška is a wonderful teacher who is patient, kind, and likeable. Above all, her lessons are fun and interactive. What I like most about her lessons is the flexibility. Lessons are tailored to my needs; thus, setting me up for success. I always look forward to our lessons! I highly recommend Duška to anyone who is looking to learn Serbian :)

She is warm, friendly and approachable as well as professional and dependable. Overall, she's not just a wonderful teacher but a lovely person. I genuinely always look forward to our lessons.
