I’m Julia, an Italian certified tutor living in Edinburgh, Scotland.

As a tutor I see myself as enthusiastic, patient and dedicated. I'm 100% committed to the progress of my students and I always pay attention to their learning goals and expectations. Throughout the years I've developed my personal learning and teaching methodology based on the techniques I've acquired as a tutor and the experience I've gained as a long-term language learner.

In my classes I try to focus on creating a sound grammatical foundation for my students, as a solid grammar knowledge is essential regardless of whether your focus is reading, writing or speaking. We will be building this foundation lesson after lesson, adapting to your learning pace and style. I also place strong emphasis on vocabulary acquisition and sentence formation as a way of creating a set of essential phrases that will help you express yourself in a wide range of situations.
