I have a Bachelor's degree in Anthropology and Archaeology, and a second Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Organisational Psychology. I love learning about other people, nationalities, cultures and religions. Sitting down and talking to someone and getting to know them is one of my favourite things to do, because it shows how even though we seem different on the outside or come from different backgrounds, at the end of the day we all share the same emotions and frustrations, and I think that that is a beautiful thing. I have a variety of interests, including music, movies and TV shows, nature, museums, reading, science, technology, food, travelling and animals.Me as a Teacher
I have been teaching on italki since April 2018 and I am TEFL certified. I am also able to coach you in preparation for the IELTS exam and have had many students go on to achieve their desired scores.
I have always enjoyed teaching others and, because everyone learns differently, I have always found it a fun challenge to work out how to explain the same concept to different people. I can assist you with the following:

My teaching philosophy is that everyone learns at their own pace - what works for one person may not work for another. I strive to tailor lessons to my students' interests and learning styles. All teaching material will be tailored to your needs so please allow me some time to create and locate it for you. I believe that language learning and development of conversational skills takes time, patience, and practice. I am very friendly and always give others plenty of time to talk - there is no rush in my lessons. I have many interests and enjoy hearing about the interests of others, so we will always have something to talk about.My teaching material
