Gen Ueda

I had my first lesson with Gen today, and I enjoyed it a lot! We started with brief self-introductions and then discussed some of my learning goals. Overall, he was understanding of my current Japanese level, and I could easily follow all his feedback during our speaking practice. I'm looking forward to our future lessons!

It's my second lesson with Gen and I have to say he's really an excellent teacher. He explains things clearly and adjusts the pace to suit my level. I'm already feeling more confident with my Japanese thanks to his support. I'm looking forward to continuing my learning journey with him!

I had my first lesson with Gen sensei and was very pleased with how it turned out. We initially spoke some Japanese to start and despite my struggle to speak Japanese, which is one of the main things I wanted to improve, he was very patient and friendly. We then had a great discussion about my goals, his proposed teaching style to fit my needs and any other questions I had. Overall a fun lesson and great experience. I'm looking forward to my next lesson(s) with him!

Gen is always a pleasure to study with. He adjusts his lessons to the student's level and provides immediate and useful feedback. He interacts in a relaxed and low stress manner, and makes it easy for learners to feel at ease. He is always great at answering my questions and providing clarification when needed. The lesson is always enjoyable and flies by. I highly recommend Gen to anyone seeking to learn Japanese.

Gen-san has been a great teacher thus far! He's well prepared for each session, with topics that are covered in an easy-to-follow format. He gives plenty of examples, and carefully guides me along. I'm looking forward to many more sessions with Gen!
