Fumiko

I can recommend Fumiko-sensei for many reasons. Her way to teach and correct student's speech is very comfortable and natural. Fumiko-sensei has strong ability to understand what student wants to say by only small parts of sentence in student's poor Japanese. And it happens sometimes that your phrase appears in Skype chat already corrected and completed right before you give up on trying to compile and say it by yourself. In addition, Fumiko-sensei's pronunciation is really clear and it's easy to improve pronunciation just by repeating her speech.

ありがとうございました。Fumiko is a great teacher. She helps me to understand new words and phrases by both speaking and typing in hiragana. I am very limited in my skills with spoken Japanese, but Fumiko conducts the lesson in English as necessary (which for me is most of the lesson). I look forward to many more lessons with ふみこ先生

Fumiko Sensei has helped me achieve confidence to speak with the Japanese I do know and the Japanese I am still learning. She is very easy to talk to and is very patient and kind in correcting my mistakes and understanding me despite them so we can keep the conversation flowing naturally. As I'm still a beginner I do make a lot of mistakes still, but thanks to Fumiko I don't feel anxious to make those mistakes anymore, so I can practice more and more. Thank you, Fumiko, and I look forward to improving my vocabulary and grammar naturally with our fun conversations more in the future!
