My name is Brian Hetherington and I have been teaching ESL for almost thirty years. I love to garden, bake, read and tell stories. I live in Kingston, a small Canadian city halfway between Ottawa and Toronto.

Me as a Teacher

I have taught all levels of student from absolute beginner to university writing. I can help in with pronunciation, grammar, writing, academic and business English, and test preparation (TOEFL, SAT). Contact me directly or sign up for a trial lesson if you're interested in learning Latin!

I adapt my lessons to the student's strengths and weaknesses and to their interests and needs. I try to make sure that my lessons are varied so they don't get boring!
